Machine cut from solid forged aluminum ingot helps to insure handle never elongates or stretches. CNC cut to make for perfect fit in throwers hand. Precise 110mm measurement from bottom of handle to center of hammer wire hole insures consistant hammer lengths and throws. Pressed bronze bushing where wire is attached is radiused for easy swivel of wire during wind up and throws. Was used on hammer that set new record for hammer throw. Weight: 81 gm

It's my son first year of throwing hammer at the college and a cheap wire handle had been fine. Never realized NCAA checks for the square of the handles themselves until he was not allowed to use his at a meet. I brought this handle because despite the abuse they get the handle should always stay square.
