Nike React technology is a lightweight, durable foam that delivers a smooth, responsive ride. Shaped like a rocker, the foam provides support for the 3 phases of a runner's stride. It offers flexibility when your foot rises off the ground, a smooth ride when your foot is moving forward and cushioning at ground contact.

Cushioned Feel, Higher Stacks

Less material between the insole and midsole means you're closer to the foam. This helps create a more responsive experience. The foam itself has a higher height, providing a plush feel.

• Focused on helping keep you stable, the supportive base creates a wider flat area compared to the original Victory on the bottom of the plate. We removed two spikes seen on the original in favor of a four-spike design. And we elevated the big-toe side platform to help the spikes feel more stable on the straightaways and especially around the turns.
• The full-length carbon fiber Flyplate is tuned to match the base of the support system. Its shape and stiffness give a propulsive feel to help keep you on your toes and minimize deceleration. The new plate material is lighter and more responsive than the previous version. It also improves the durability of the outer traction plate.
• Atomknit, an updated version of Flyknit, has a lightweight, contoured fit and enhanced breathability. It works with a new knit structure and midfoot containment cables to give you an ultra lightweight upper.
