For schools that value safety, the Gill Athletics HALO® Starting Device's intentional patent pending ring design reduces the concern of guns at the track. Unlike traditional starting pistols that require costly firearm cartridges, the HALO® device is an electronic system that can connect wirelessly to the Wireless Starter System and produce both the traditional bang sound and an audible tone. Connect to the Multiple Speaker System to disperse sound above the decibel standard equally across the starting line.

  • Unique ring design reduces the concern of guns on school campuses
  • 12 total LED lights that wrap around both sides of the device so that the hand-timers can see the flash clearly from afar
  • Sounds either a tone or bang sound when used with the Wireless Starter System. Tested to meet the >90db requirement to start a track meet when used with this speaker system
  • Features an audio jack for compatibility with existing speaker systems that have an aux input. However, please note that if used with another speaker system, it is not guaranteed to meet the >90db requirement
  • Batteries are a less expensive solution compared to blanks
  • Wireless option available to eliminate cable cord stretching around the track to the official
  • Compatible with FinishLynx® and Eagle Eye timing systems
  • Powered by one 9V battery, included
  • Includes: Halo Device, Protective Soft Carrying Case, Audio Cable, Timing System Cable, 9V Battery, Phillips Head Screwdriver
